Ruff Stuff and Bress Underground have grown to become know and loved for their raw twist on contemporary house music. Here we see them deliver the second instlament of Ruff Stuff's newly minted Sculptures label with the Stick It EP. First up is the collaborative title-cut, featuring catchy vocal lines intertwined with airy chords, low slung drums, tension building strings and a bouncy bass groove. Bress Underground flies solo next with 'Radical Deep', employing a bouncy sub line with organic percussion, and choppy vocal chants running alongside dreamy stab sequences, resonant licks and mystical atmospherics. Ruff Stuff's 'Like A Question' then rounds out the release, encapsulating a more classic deep house feel via sweeping chords, shuffled drums, dubby stabs and a bumpy bass hits which all subtly evolve and unfold throughout.
