PREMIERE: Snack Atoms - Backspace [EABE Records]

Snack Atoms appears as EABE’s latest signing with a bombardment of uptempo electro rollers. The EP is based on live performances in Helsinki’s Kaiku and Leipzig’s Distillery, creating a pleasantly coherent trip through the four tracks. The title cut sets the pace with a bouncy beat and a driving bassline joined by wistful synths, topped off with a catchy lead as the powerful track picks up to full throttle – like a maglev train gliding through a neon-lit cityscape, raindrops in the window turning quick into colourful traces. The rest expands on the expertly conceived formula, drawing from elements of dub, trance and contemporary bass music.
