El productor ganadero y consejero en CRA por la la Federación de Sociedades Rurales de Río Negro Luis Sacco, expone la postura de prodcutores de la región.Luego de 23 años de vigencia de la barrera sanitaria del paralelo 42 al sur que impide el ingreso de carne vacuna con hueso a la Patagonia, libre de aftosa sin vacunación, distinto al resto del país que es libre de la enfermedad pero con vacunación, el Gobierno mediante la resolución 180 del Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (Senasa) habia resuelto levantar, con requisitos las restricciones para la entrada de carne con hueso y material genético a esa región como también ingresar carne del exterior.Los gobernadores de Chubut, Río Negro y Santa Cruz; presionaron al gobierno para que esta resolución sea levantada y el Gobierno suspendió por 90 días el permiso para que ingrese carne con hueso a la Patagonia.
