Preparation Before Provision

Many times, we pray for God to bless us with more — more opportunity, more stability, more influence — but every blessing requires preparation. God won’t release what we aren’t structured to sustain. Scripture Proverbs 24:27 – “Get your fields ready; then build your house.” Devotional Thought Preparation is not punishment — it’s protection. God prepares you so the blessing won’t break you. This preparation can look like: • developing discipline • cleaning up finances • healing emotionally • strengthening prayer life • building healthier habits • learning consistency When you prepare well, God can trust you with more. Provision without preparation becomes chaos. Provision with preparation becomes purpose. Words of Encouragement Your preparation is a sign that God is getting you ready for something bigger.
