Preparations 7th Tokyo International Conference for African Development have begun.TICAD 7 will be held this year in Yokohama City, Japan from the 28th to the 30th of August. TICAD is the largest initiative by Japan to assist African development, particularly with regards to the improvement of social and economic conditions on the continent. Ahead of the event the Embassy of Japan in South Africa this week organised a media tour to discuss the upcoming 7th TICAD amongst others.
