Prepare the Way (Part 2)

Pastor Simon Obert impresses upon us that the second coming of Jesus Christ is a significant and imminent event that believers must prepare for, requiring of us a sober-hearted turn away from sin and a wholehearted turning towards God. Pastor Simon reminds us that we must decrease so that Christ may increase, putting Him at the center of our lives and ministries. While we wait for His return, this is a time of purification and sanctification where we allow the Holy Spirit to uproot anything in us that is not pleasing to God. The ultimate goal is to be ready to meet the returning King, living lives that glorify and exalt the name of Jesus.
