Preparing for the End of the Year
from Teaching Autism and Special Education by Nikki · host Teaching Autism
On the podcast today I’m talking about how you can be preparing for the end of the year. Many of our autism and special education students find it very difficult at this time of year. The summer holidays can be an anxious time for many of our students. Some of our students may be excited for all that time off. But for others, it’s a period of uncertainty. Their routine is being taken from them. And that can result in behaviours too. Are you looking for ways to help prepare your students for the end of the year? If so, tune in to this podcast episode. I’m sharing with you some of my favourite ways to help my students prepare for the end of the year. Links Below are links to some of the resources that I have mentioned throughout this podcast. There’s also a link back to the behaviour management podcast episode from last week. On that episode, I’m talking to Cassie from Adventures in Behavior. And she shares lots of great strategies with us.
