True freedom as children of God comes from trusting in the power of His Word, which is always true, life-giving, and effective, even in the midst of suffering and hardship. Like the fertile soil in the Gospel, we are called to cultivate our hearts through prayer, the Eucharist, and Scripture so that God's Word may take deep root and bear lasting fruit in our lives.
