According to the Commonsense Institute Arizona, the state currently ranks 11th in the nation for financial fraud. To help residents protect themselves, PVPD offers several specialized classes and safety programs.Available programs include the NRA-certified "Refuse to be a Victim" class, targeted scam and fraud prevention presentations for community groups, and personalized home or business security assessments through Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).Certified crime prevention specialists are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, to answer questions from anyone in the Quad-Cities area.
