Present: From Beginning to End
from Confluence Church Hosted by Confluence Church
The story of Christmas captures our attention every Advent season. Jesus’ birth marks a glorious moment in history. But the story of Christmas is not an isolated event. The story begins at creation and points to new creation. And the beauty of Advent reminds us that from the beginning, in our failure, through our process, to new life, God has always been present with us.

What this episode covers
From the beginning, we were designed and made to be in relationship with our Creator. The early pages of scripture remind us that God made us with intent, that we bear His image. Which means we were made to be His representatives wherever we are. As one author states, “our identity, purpose, and truth are all to be found in God’s word and God’s work. Not just from the beginning - always.”
