Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” - Judges 21:25 Living according to what is “right in our own eyes” was a historical problem, but it continues on as a modern one. Human beings living in this way are THE cause of pain in the world - and this problem and pain are so extensive, it required God himself intervening in the person of Jesus to alleviate and redeem it. Will we continue on this path toward self-destruction? Or will we embrace the Way of Jesus of Nazareth, and become people of consequence?
