Present in our Distress

from Pneuma Podcast

Based on John 21:1–9 ‘Present in our Distress’ encourages believers to keep trusting in God against all odds. Jesus’ disciples also experience disappointment but rescinded when they discovered that even when in distress the Master of the Universe was with them. You may be staggering from one failure to the other right now or from mistakes you made in the past and wondering if you are good enough for God to care about, listen, (Romans 5:8) said  “but God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Circumstances of this world cannot change or limit God’s love for you. He stands by the  door of you heart, waiting and watching for you to acknowledge him and renew your relationship with Him. God wants to fill up that emptiness in your life, but you must first take the step to be emptied and recognise the limits of your own self-sufficiency. Miracle begins when the jar is empty.Credit:Portraits of Hope: Carry Me (Instrumental)Candi Staton: Jesus is here right nowDisclaimer: All music used belong to the copyright owner credited.
