Catherine must fight against all odds to keep her family business and home.Anne McCruddenAnne began acting in the 1980s and early ’90s, performing in theatre productions by playwrights including John B. Keane, Synge, Martin McDonagh, Brian Friel and Jim Nolan. After stepping away from acting to pursue other work, she later returned to performance, when a chance meeting with filmmaker Dave Byrne led to her screen debut as Phyllis in Somebody (2023). After this followed by her role as Catherine in Sunphlowers (2025). Now represented by Capulet Actors Agency, she is developing film and television projects focused on complex female characters. Over the years, the podcast has featured acclaimed guests such as Phyllida Lloyd, Lenny Abrahamson, M.
