Developed by the sheriff’s office, Upstate Bloodhound Search and Rescue, and Lifeline Community Church, these free kits act like odor fingerprints for dogs, speeding up search efforts and potentially saving lives. Kits must be stored safely at home and can remain viable for up to two years. Families are urged to notify authorities immediately if a kit is needed during a missing person search.
