Righteousness by faith is a central Christian tenant. But what does it mean? "Faith" is a much abused term, used at once as supreme confidence and blind superstition. Though we walk by faith and not by sight, God has not left us in the dark. It would be unloving for a parent to give unclear direction to his children.
