President of the Black Student Movement at UNC-Chapel Hill Makhi Nash

UNC-Chapel Hill officials have released a statement after a man charged into a classroom yelling racial slurs and making threats. It happened Monday night inside Greenlaw Hall. Students say their safety was at risk after a man walked into the room, where nearly 100 students had gathered for an event hosted by Black student organizations on campus. Makhi Nash was in the building. He joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss what happened.
