President of the NCAE Tamika Walker Kelly shares her thoughts on the NC Supreme Court throwing out multi-billion plan in long-running Leandro lawsuit

The North Carolina Supreme Court on Thursday threw out the multi-billion dollar plan to improve North Carolina’s public schools in the long-running lawsuit known as Leandro. The 111-page ruling invalidates most of the last decade’s worth of work in the case. Tamika Walker Kelly, the President of the North Carolina Association of Educators, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss her feelings about the ruling.
