Dennis decries another shopping holiday in lieu of Washington and Lincoln’s birthday. A previous generation knew the birthdays of those two great men by heart. No longer… The lack of patriotism in the country is not a plus; it’s a big minus.  The President made a surprise trip to Kiev as a show of support. Dennis agrees that we should back Ukraine against Russian aggression, but many conservatives do not. The right is deeply split on this issue.  In Culver City, CA, a group of parents stepped to the lectern Tuesday night at a school board meeting in this middle-class, Los Angeles-area city to push back against a racial- equity initiative. The high school, they argued, should reinstate honors English classes that were eliminated because they didn’t enroll enough Black and Latino students. Callers weigh in.
