Press Play

Press Play is a bold anthem that cuts to the core of ambition, resilience, and the highs and lows of dreaming big despite the odds. Rooted in the experience of growing up in poverty, this track is a testament to the unbreakable bond with family, especially cousins who share the grind and grit. The song doesn’t shy away from reality it calls out a city’s struggles where people seem lost in cycles of violence and blinded by money but remain disengaged from the power of their voice, of their vote. Driven by a blend of raw lyricism and melody, Press Play balances sharp social commentary with a fresh, creative vibe. The track challenges the doubters, those who think autotune dilutes the artistry, proving that the tech doesn’t detract from the weight and wit of the lyrics. This isn’t just a song; it’s a declaration an invitation for anyone who’s ever felt small to stand tall and press play on their own dreams.
