“Pressing on Toward Spiritual Maturity, Part 5: The God of Hope” by Greg Chandler

Wish and hope are often used synonymously; however, there is a significant gulf between them. A wish is ephemeral and based simply on a desire for events to conspire in the manner we want. Hope rests on the solid foundation that, while situations in the present may not seem to be working toward a satisfactory conclusion, there is promise and proof that they will. This coming Sunday, a sermon titled “Pressing on Toward Spiritual Maturity (V): The God of Hope” will explore how real hope is evidence that real growth is occurring in one’s walk with God.
