Pressing Through; Touching Grace

Have you ever had one of those days? Or weeks? Months? Or even season of life? You know what I’m talking about. Those times in life when it seems like everything that can go wrong… does. When everything, including the kitchen sink, is thrown at you. In this episode, we'll look at the story of a woman found in Mark 5:25-34 who had struggled for 12 years. This woman “did all she knew to do”. She wasn’t lazily sitting back and being a victim. She had actively looked for a solution, sought wisdom from all the “experts”. She spent everything she had. All her time, all her resources, all her money, all her ideas… until she got to the point where she was almost completely empty. Doesn’t that sound like us today in our self-help, internet search engine world? We’ve read all the books and blogs; listened to all the podcasts; sought all the advice. And yet… we are still spinning our wheels trying to juggle everything, feeling overwhelmed with the cares of this world. Join me as we explore some beautiful truths to apply in our lives during those seasons when a wall of humanity stands between us and Jesus. I want to encourage you today to stop focusing on the things pressing against you from all sides. Instead look to Jesus and run boldly to Him - crawl if you have to- and receive His Grace-His divine influence upon our hearts- His peace, His joy, His wisdom, His enablement.
