Hi and welcome to the first of our Prestigious Pints episodes, an experiment we are running where we invite some famous names on to have a chat with us. In this episode we talk to agile legend Mike Cohn about how he has adjusted to online training and how his natural introverted nature has been affected. We learn some random facts about him including his favourite batman and why he is encouraging people to break the rules of Scrum in lockdown.Given that February sees the 20th anniversary of the Agile Manifesto, he tells us why he thinks the manifesto would have been worse if he had been in the room for its creation. We also talk to him about his involvement in the setting up of both the Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance and why he argued against including sprint retrospectives in the first version of Scrum. It was a thoroughly enjoyable chat that moved on to what he would change if he could go back in time and how he hopes agile goes away in the future before getting an insight into how his Dad got him so interested in playing pranks on April Fools Day.Enjoy this episode and do let us know what you think… Hosted on Acast.
