PREVAILING IN TROUBLED TIMES | Praying The Promises | 15th June 2026Psalm 50:15 (KJV): "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."Troubled times will come. Jesus Himself said it, and no believer is exempt from seasons of pressure, difficulty, and opposition. But God has not left you without an assurance; He has promised that in the day of trouble, He will deliver you, and that promise has never failed a single person who has stood upon it.The assurance of God in troubled times is not that the trouble will not come; it is that you will prevail through it. Every troubled season you face has already been factored into the plan of God, and the outcome He has determined for you is not defeat but deliverance. You are not going under in this troubled time; you are coming through it with a testimony that only God could have written.Today, call upon God over every trouble that is pressing against you. Do not carry the weight of your troubled season alone; bring it to the One who has already assured you of the victory. He will deliver you, and when He does, the testimony that follows will silence every voice that said you would not make it through.Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:I decree that God is delivering you in the day of your trouble right now! The same God who made the promise is answering your call and moving on your behalf. You are coming out of this troubled season with a testimony that glorifies God and silences your enemies, in Jesus' name!Section 2—Praying the Promises:Start-Up Prayer:Father, I thank You that You are my deliverer in troubled times. I declare that I call upon You in the day of my trouble and You answer me. Every situation that has been pressing against me is yielding to Your deliverance. I am coming out of this troubled season victoriously and my testimony will bring glory to Your name, in Jesus' name. Amen.Nation Focus: NigeriaNigeria is the most populous nation in Africa with an estimated population of over 220 million people. It is home to one of the largest and most vibrant Christian communities on the continent, with Christians comprising approximately 46% of the population, largely in the south and middle belt regions. The nation faces significant challenges including economic instability, security crises in multiple regions, widespread corruption, and persistent religious tension between Christian and Muslim communities in the north. Yet the Nigerian Church is a global mission force, sending ministers and intercessors around the world and carrying a burden for the evangelisation of the African continent.Prayer for a Nation:Father, let Nigeria prevail in this troubled season. Let the God who delivers in the day of trouble arise over every security challenge, every economic crisis, and every system of injustice and let Your delivering power produce a turnaround that demonstrates Your faithfulness to this nation in Jesus' name.Prayer for Leaders:Father, let the leaders of Nigeria call upon You in the day of national trouble. Let pride and self-sufficiency give way to a genuine dependence on God and let leaders who cry out to You receive divine strategies for national delivery in Jesus' name.Prayer for Israel:Father, let Israel know that You are her deliverer in every day of trouble. Let the assurance of Your covenantal protection rest upon every Israeli citizen in this hour and let the enemies of Israel experience the consequences of opposing the people You have promised to defend in Jesus' name.Prayer for Unity in the Church:Father, let troubled times draw the Church in our cities together rather than push us apart. Let shared challenges produce shared prayer and let the unity that emerges from this season of trouble become the foundation for a greater move of God in Jesus' name.Prayer for Souls/Revival:Father, let the trouble that many in our communities are experiencing become the door through which they call upon You for the first time. Let the Church be positioned to reach those whose trouble has made them open to the Gospel and let many be saved in Jesus' name.Bible Study Plan:Proverbs 16Jeremiah 49Galatians 4
