The old saying "hard work never hurt anyone" may still be true, but working hard for too many hours could be a health hazard, according to a new report from the World Health Organization. Frank Pega, PhD, epidemiologist, health economist, Technical Officer in the Environment, Climate Change and Health Department at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, says long working hours are killing 745,000 people a year worldwide.
