September is National Suicide Prevention Month.  This month mental health advocates,  survivors, family members, faith based organizations and local, state and national agencies are working together to promote suicide prevention awareness. It is not just a one month thing, these efforts are ongoing. Texas Veterans Commission works with mental health professionals and organizations everyday to stop veteran suicide.  The Military Veteran Peer Network Connects veterans with Peers who look out for each other.
