There are some podcasts that don't get released for some reason. Sometimes the sound quality isn't great. Sometimes the interview doesn't go particularly well. And sometimes the episode just doesn't seem to fit into the flow of the season (which is something I don't plan out but rather just let evolve according to my interests at the time).That said, I think some of the conversations might be interesting to some folks and so I've decided to release them here as Patreon exclusives.This episode features a conversation I had with author, lecturer and podcast host Erik Davis on August 21, 2019. We were supposed to talk about his book High Weirdness (which is great), but ended up having a fascinating but somewhat tangential conversation about podcasting, psychedelics, his weirdest mystical experience and Philip K.
