Three members of the local Steenkamp family had been brutally murdered, leaving their 17-year-old son Don as the only survivor. As the dust settled people blamed everything from a so-called ‘white genocide farm attack’ to a Satanic Cult. However, the reality and the family secrets that emerged were far darker than anything cooked up by the press.
