Stories made with love :) Summary: Anna de Lattese is a poor girl who loves to dance but she only has an old leotard, ripped tights and ballet slippers with holes in them. The big dance tryouts to be selected to dance in the Romanhoff Ballet Theatre Company is coming up in the town of Cobble Hill. Girls and dancer hopefuls line up to try out. All the dancers are dressed in beautiful costumes and have beautiful pink satin pointe shoes. Madelin Slavenska is dressed beautifully and she is confident that she will win. Her Mother and Father watch her go on stage. Madelin is fantastic and steals the show. Anna goes on stage and is flawless. Madelin stares in amazement but is jealous of how good Anna is. Suddenly Anna's shoes rip and the strings trip her. The audience gasps in horror at her shoes falling apart on stage. Valdoff the world famous choreographer from Black Cats, An American in Greece and It's Raining Top Hats comes on stage to announce this year's winners. He calls out the names Madelin Slavenska, Jette Kumaka and Natalie Zakharova. Anna is crying and her Mothers say dancing is no place for a poor girl as it will just lead to heart ache. Her mother tells her that their life is about cleaning clothes for others as that is a good living. Suddenly Valdoff and his sister Bianca walk up and offer Anna a scholarship. Anna is excited. Madelin overhears the conversation and follows Anna home. Madelin sneaks up to Anna and pushes her down. Anna hurts her ankle by the river. Anna hears a cry for help. Anna finds a tiny fairy Kaia stuck in a spider web. Kaia's wings are covered in sticky web glue. Anna helps Kaia out of the spider web and Kaia uses her wand and gives Anna new satin ballet pointe shoes. Anna has shoes to dance in. Valdoff has tryouts at the theatre company for the starring role as lead Prima Ballerina in his new dance production Summer Time in Paris. The dancers practice daily hoping to be the prima ballerina for the show. Madelin watches Anna and sees she is really good. Madelin performs well. Anna does a fantastic job and beats Madelin. Madelin is angry and thinks of a plan to get Anna disqualified from the show. Madelin finds the fairy and captures Kaia. Madelin tells Anna quit the show and I'll give you the fairy. Anna agrees to save the fairy. The opening day of the big show Madelin is backstage warming up. Her legs will not work and they freeze up. They are not working and paralizyed. Valdoff goes in the audience where Anna and her mother are sitting to watch the show. Anna is given the beautiful white outfit and Anna dances in the lead role as Prima Ballerina. Anna's performance makes her a star. She tours the world and becomes a famous Prima Ballerina. She finally has new shoes and gets to dance all the time.
