The Prime Mover Series is back! This month, Matt and Allie talk to Zoë Luebbe, PT DPT about the movement she chose- walking through the grocery store! Timely for the busy holidays and chaotic public spaces like the grocery and retail stores, Zoë calls on her vestibular training and background to explain why this can be a very stressful task for different people. The risk of falling is very prevalent in patients having this difficulty, with dizziness and headaches adding to their issues, Zoë explains the types of degeneration that is commonly seen. She describes the muscles involved in this movement and the importance of overall coordination, strength, endurance and balance.
