They’re part of a coalition of nonprofits working to educate and engage prospective voters in Western North Carolina. Others working in this effort are the YWCA of Asheville, Just Economics and Asheville Food & Beverage United. We’ll talk about their work on the ground, overcoming challenges presented by new restrictive voting laws and how they’re working to encourage seemingly low-incentive voters out to the polls.
