Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" - Isaiah‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Bible Text: Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬ 6. ‭‭For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. INSPIRATION: The world today has become so chaotic and toxic that many people are now so conflicted; conflicted in thought, choices and actions. The resultant effect is real peace that bring  absolute joy has become so elusive. But not to despair, the Prince of Peace is born that you might have peace and have it in abundance. Many think their money can buy peace or their relationship can foster peace but events have proven over and again that the more the world and governmental systems chase after peace, the greater the conflict it encounters. So, is the hope for lasting peace completely lost? Never! Jesus, the Prince of Peace says, "‭‭Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John‬ ‭14:27‬). Clearly put, real peace is external to your indulgences, be it in an accomplished goal like getting a degree, a dream come true job, thriving relationship or business, Jesus says, "‭‭Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you." If the world could give peace, He wouldn't need to give His. His government of peace dwarfs and makes rubbish of the peace united nations treaties can afford. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Jesus steps into your storm and declares, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4: 39), and it's gone! That's authority different from the usual order. You want His kind of peace, accept and embrace Him. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please activate Your peace in every aspect of my life. Cause every storm to cease. Make me to enjoy steady progress and advancement in all ramifications to the glory of your name, in Jesus name.
