 Welcome to the 16th episode of the Russian Verbs from Russia podcast for intermediate learners of the Russian language! These are some words and expressions which you'll hear in this episode:  ругать(ся) на чём свет стоит свет = земля, мир стоять  слон плечи богов стоять устойчиво сдвинуть заставлять - заставить ругаться как извозчик лошадь управлять + чем? кем? везти / возить погонять лошадей кричать + на кого? грубо поподробнее  приводить - привести примеры (я приведу примеры) привыкать - привыкнуть + к чему? к кому? / что делать? (несовершенный вид) прошедшее время: он привык, она привыкла, они привыкли иметь в виду казалось / кажется + кому? переехать + куда? в другую страну день за днём  с каждым днём постепенно привыкать - привыкать к жизни в другой стране / к другой еде / к обычаям / к русской кухне / к блюдам русской кухни / к русским блюдам привыкнуть вставать рано привыкнуть к тому, что нужно вставать рано К чему трудно привыкнуть? обычай одевать - одеть + кого? одеваться Родители одевают ребёнка. Ребёнок одевается. приучаться - приучиться похож (на) этимология Глаза привыкают / привыкли к яркому свету. Уши привыкают / привыкли к шуму. приспосабливаться - приспособиться + к чему? шум шумно наоборот означать = значить обращать - обратить внимание мешать вставать рано непривычно непривычный привычка вредная / полезная привычка люди, привычные к тяжёлой работе привыкший  отвыкать - отвыкнуть + от чего? / что делать?
