Pro Social Trauma Responses Part II

from Become A Trauma Informed Coach · host Lindsay Poelman

This is Part 2 of a series of Why Trauma Responses are Pro Social. In this episode your host Lindsay Poelmans discusses what potential trauma responses can look like outside of the entrepreneurship realm. She also explains why there is a balance to be found between responsibility and labeling experiences as traumatic. Why does this matter? It’s helpful to see where your responses come into play as a human, outside of coaching; so that you can be grounded enough to pick up on this stuff with respect to your clients. If you aren’t ever willing to look underneath your own hood, it’s going to be a different experience trying to pick up on potential trauma trails that your clients may be hinting at–whether consciously or subconsciously.Free bonus! She believes that being trauma informed is an essential standard of care for coaches. She created this podcast to support life coaches who recognize that there is so much more than mindset work when it comes to supporting their clients responsibly.Lindsay’s current program offerings:Looking for a new career as a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach?
