Auch aus dem Trentino, einer Provinz in Norditalien, erreichen uns immer wieder Berichte von unerwünschten Bärenbegegnungen. Unser heutiger Gast, der Wildtierexperte Moritz Klose, beleuchtet in seinem neuen Buch, inwiefern ein Zusammenleben von Braunbär und Mensch in unserer dicht besiedelten Kulturlandschaft überhaupt möglich ist. Welche Rolle spielen Schutzmaßnahmen, Wissen und Respekt? Vor allem aber lässt uns der Autor eintauchen in die Welt der Bären und gewährt seltene Einblicke. Für das Buch hat er u.a. mit Grizzly-Forschern in Alaska gesprochen und er war in Rumänien und Bayern Braunbären auf der Spur. Er plädiert für eine friedliche Koexistenz von Mensch und Bär und für den Schutz der Biodiversität unserer Wälder.
