Processing Grief and Fear After the Chiefs Rally Shooting

Joy and celebration at Kansas City's Super Bowl Champions Celebration Rally on Feb. 14, 2024, turned to horror as shots were fired at the conclusion of the rally at Union Station. One mom lost her life and as many as 23 people were injured including nine children. We are talking with anxiety therapist, Lindsey Murray, on how to address some of our kids' (and our own) big questions like "am I safe?", "Will I be ever be safe in big crowds?" and "I feel scared. Meet Lindsey Murray Lindsey Murray is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist and mom of 3. She is specially trained in treating anxiety disorders and other conditions/behaviors that often accompany anxiety. Her therapy approach focuses on helping individuals understand how anxiety works and how they can respond in new & different ways to minimize its interference in their day to day lives.
