Professor david Lindenmayer is one of the worlds leading experts on forest ecology. He has spent the past 40 years researching and writing about the intricacies of how our forests function as sanctuaries for wildlife and plants as well as water, fire and cllimate. He has just written a myth busting tour de force of a book called "The Forest Wars - The ugly truth about what's happening in our tall forests" He talked Sean O'Shannessy through a few of those myths for Environemntal as Anything.
