Prof. Derek Leinweber: Season 1 Episode 8

Season 1 Episode 8 I am a theoretical physicist fascinated by the complex phenomena that emerge from the fundamental quantum field theory of the strong  interactions, QCD. As a Canadian, I did my PhD at McMaster University, toured the States via U Maryland, The Ohio State U and U Washington (Seattle) and settled here at the University of Adelaide.  When I'm not playing with supercomputers, I'm playing guitar (most recently Bossa Nova) or playing drums in a Britpop band called Mode.
