When Prof. Kristen Genet started at Anoka-Ramsey, her plan was to just stay there for a few years. As an ecologist and trained researcher, she wanted to do research as well as teach. Over time, her role evolved to where undergraduate research became a significant part of her job. Today, 20 years later, Anoka-Ramsey Community College has institutionalized undergraduate research across its programs.
