Professional Athlete Consultant and First Ever Female Public Address Announcer for World Juniors Izzy Germain Shares her Philosophies for Success, Building Relationships, and Working in Hockey

Today I talked with Izzy Germain! Izzy played university hockey at Dalhousie University before getting into broadcasting while still in college! She was the first ever female Public Address Announcer for the 2023 World Juniors, worked for the Boston Fleet as the director of Team Services/Hockey Operations, she is the COO of the Jill Saulnier Foundation, runs hockey operations for Hilary Knight’s hockey camps, was the lead play by play announcer for the PWHPA for the 2022-23, and so much more in the hockey world! Recently, she brought Taylor Heise’s first-ever hockey camp to life at Ridder! We talked about her philosophies in hockey and life, how she transitioned to being involved in hockey in new ways, her best advice on relationship building, and her thoughts on mental health. This was such a special conversation, and I am so humbled that Izzy took the time to speak with me! It was so wonderful to learn from her, and I know you’ll take a lot of value from this episode. Connect with her on Instagram @IzzyGermain to see all the great stuff she’s up to! Take 10 seconds to leave a review for the show if you enjoyed it! I’ll see you next week! Bye!***FOUR MINUTES WITH FIONA PODCASTA four-minute podcast with athletes, entrepreneurs, and high achievers.Instagram @fourminuteswfiona @fionahatton7X @FourMinutesPodHosted by Fiona Hatton.
