CBS-professor Ken L. Bechmann forsker i risiko, finansielle markeder og direktørløn – men privat investerer han som en forsigtig jyde. Han ejer kun én enkeltaktie, tror på indeksfonde og lave omkostninger og vil helst betale kontant fremfor at tage gæld. Alligevel lykkedes det ham under finanskrisen at købe Danske Bank tæt på bunden og senere sælge med et afkast på tre-fire gange investeringen.
