Em 1978, com produção de Juarez Fonseca e direção artística de Geraldo Flach, era lançado Paralelo 30, a antologia que reuniu tudo que de mais importante havia e haveria na música produzida nestas latitudes. Paralelo 30 apresenta Bebeto Alves, Cláudio Vera Cruz, Nelson Coelho de Castro, Carlinhos Hartlieb, Nando D'Avila e Raul Ellwanger em um momento inicial não apenas de suas carreiras, mas de tudo aquilo que viria a ser a música regionalista do estado.
