In recognition of her dedication and achievements, Patty received the Victor Spies Foundation Volunteer Manager of the Year award in 2003, as well as a Community Service award from Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2010. Prior to accepting her current role, she established and ran her own thriving small business in the Kansas City area. Patty's husband, John, is a dedicated supporter of her work in this new capacity.
