Born and raised in New York, Fran graduated from Skidmore College in 2005. After a decade in a variety of real estate related roles, Francis joined TPL in 2018 and has been working to protect land for people since. TPL is a national non profit that works to connect everyone to the benefits and joys of the outdoors. Since 1972 TPL has protected more than 4 million acres of public land, created more than 5,364 parks, trails, schoolyards, and iconic outdoor places, and raised over $94 billion in public funding for parks and public land. In New York we've created more than 500 schoolyards, parks and green spaces across the state, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come.
