Started by one of our Interns, Project Shamशान aims to help crematorium and burial ground workers get resources necessary to protect themselves from the pandemic which we sometimes take for granted. They work for the government, however, because of their caste/class, they are discriminated against and live harsh lives. Talking about the stigma and prejudices attached to this field of work, as well as the sheer disregard they faced during the pandemic, our Intern, Kripa Krishna, has explained how she met and helped them in their struggle during the pandemic. Our ongoing fundraiser helps to donate mattresses, food, proper toilets, etc. to the workers. Sounds drift like half-remembered dreams: voices without faces, rhythms that fade as you chase them, synths that shimmer just out of reach. Each track is a lucid slipstream, stitched from voltage, intuition, and the soft machinery of the mind. . .FriendsThe Jazzhop Café https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi8wqezBudeAiTdKOX571ugLoodma Recordings https://www.loodmarecordings.com More Creativity Records https://morecreativityrecords.com Half Day Fridays Half Day Fridays Welcome to Half Day Fridays where we wrap up our week early to keep things in perspective and consciously chase down what we love.
