SUMMARY: PROPER DIET, NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS, VITAMINS AND MINERALS AND HEALTHFUL LONGEVITY; THE SCIENTIFIC BASIS; DR. RUSSELL BLAYLOCK; PART 1.  Part 1.  Most people do not understand that farming methods have changed in the last 100 years leading to modifications in the Vitamin and Mineral content of the soils transforming our intake of these Essential Molecules.  Add to that the use of Pesticides and Antibiotics to the farming techniques, and we are exposed to toxins and antibiotics we do not need. There is a significant loss in vitamins and minerals leading to widespread deficiencies and, potentially, to chronic disease states and early death. These deficiencies can be detected by blood tests and corrected by taking supplements. There are 37 trillion cells in the body with each undergoing constant molecular reactions for which these diet essentials are key to those reactions. Some people avoid the Sun from which Vitamin D is made that is essential for bone, CNS, Cardiac, and immune system function besides being a strong natural antibiotic. In a private pediatric practice in Portland, Oregon, 100% of the children were deficient in Vitamin D, and many in nursing homes were found with low Vitamin D levels (should be from 65-100 ng/ml) leading to potential disease states, particularly affecting the CNS. Junk food diets contain high levels of glutamate which is toxic to many cells. Glutamate is the most common excitatory transmitter in the brain and body, while GABA and Glycine are the most common inhibitory transmitters. There is a delicate balance between these two excitatory and inhibitory systems that must be in balance to avoid disease states. In this Short Video and Podcast, Dr. Blaylock explains how we are potentially deficient in these essential molecules for our trillions of cellular molecular reactions, how to diagnose a deficiency, and how to treat it. These deficiencies affect your family, office staff, and patients. (34 minutes)
