He wove together a global alliance of Indigenous Elders and founded the “American Indian Unity Movement”. Mad Bear provided the motivation for Blueotter, host of Prophecy Keepers, to collect prophecies from all over the world, as Mad Bear had hoped someone would do years earlier. Chief Seattle: A chief to the Duwamish people his native name is closer to Si’ahl. The city found in the state of Washington is named after him.
