Propitiation
from Bay Area Community Church Hosted by Greg St. Cyr
The heart of the Good News—the diamond of your spiritual life—is the cross. The more I dive into the depth of God’s love and mercy at Calvary, only one word comes to mind: "Wow!" Wow! The darkness of sin washed away. Wow! The grace and mercy of God on display. Wow! The justice of God fully satisfied. Wow! The love of God perfectly demonstrated. Join us this Sunday as we look through the jeweler's loupe at the first "refraction" of this diamond. We’ll see the exact moment where God’s justice and mercy kiss, leaving us overwhelmed by the depth of His love. Perhaps the reason we sometimes lack the motivation to be "Good News" people where we live, work and play is simply because we’ve lost sight of the brilliance of the stone. Let’s rediscover it together.
