The American Cancer Society estimates that one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.Since prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men after skin cancer and long-term survival is common, after diagnosis and treatment, survivors have continuing needs for follow-up care to manage treatment side effects.
