She says the defendant and her son refuse to give her back the phone, so she’s suing for the cost of the phone and accessories. The defendant says the phone was a gift. She’s countersuing for harassment. Plus, The plaintiff didn’t know the defendant was her cousin until she was 18 years old. They became very close, and she ended up getting a job. The plaintiff loaned him money for a truck, but he hasn’t paid her back, so she’s suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff defamed him to their co-workers, so he’s countersuing.
