Protagonista ALAN PARKER

Dedicamos este podcast al director Alan Parker, fallecido el pasado 31 de Julio de 2020, haciendo un recorrido por su carrera en la que supo rodearse de grandes estrellas para hacer visibles historias que interesasen y llegaran al gran público. Cuidó exquisitamente la música que acompañaría a sus películas como veremos trabajando con del pop o  el rock, como Bee Gees, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, además con compositores como Paul Williams, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Trevor Jones, Randy Edelman, John Williams, Rachel Portman o Giorgio Moroder. Aunque su primer guión para el cine fue una película de amor adolescente y tras algunos trabajos en televisión daría el salto a la dirección con su siguiente guion para el cine con un musical infantil, huyó del encasillamiento de las películas para todos los públicos cambiando constantemente de género cinematográfico, manejándose con soltura en todos ellos como veremos a lo largo del programa.
